Taking a drive down Ponce de Leon Blvd. in Coral Gables and my eye got caught by a building I’ve probably passed a hundred times before. Built in the 1960s, this building located at 1000 Ponce de Leon Blvd. is a great example of Miami architecture. I love how the hovering sun shades have a building function to keep sun off of the Direct East and West facades but they also act as a strong architectural feature.
